Words are at a loss for me on this post because I am that excited.
The book that will transform the blogging world is on the market now…Everything But the Posts.
Now, for me to make such a grand statement you would assume I know something about the book. And that’s true. But I know the author, and that’s more.
Becca is the one who designed this blog. She has answered, oh, I don’t know, one million, four hundred thousand and two questions from me. And she has never looked at me to say, “Seriously, you don’t know this?”
I’ve been blogging a long time. When I was gifted the opportunity to read this book over football season – back when the sun was warm and we had green grass and I hardly slept I was so busy – I took notes. I sent texts that said “page # – I NEVER KNEW!” to Becca. Since then I have often been blogging and thought, “Wait. What was that Becca said in her book?” and I couldn’t flip through the book to see! Ugh!
Because Becca is a friend of mine – the one I boarded a plane to go visit because I love her so – you would rightly assume I am going to be prejudice over how great this book is. I am going to love it just because I am head over heels proud of her.
But the book is really that great. It really is that much of a resource for bloggers. I have had people ask me regularly about beginning a blog and I have been telling them, “Wait until this book comes out, then buy it immediately.”
Don’t just take my word for it. Listen to Jon Acuff. Oh, you have heard of him? He just wrote a couple of books. Maybe you have heard of Start or Stuff Christians Like? Anyhow, he knows awesome. And he endorses Becca’s book. Yah, I may have screeched and jumped up and down when I found that out. Because I am the utmost professional like that.
There are lots of people who proclaim to be ‘blogging experts.’ Becca actually is one. If you want a successful blog, read this as fast as you can! -Jon Acuff, New York Times Bestselling author of Start: Punch Fear in the Face, Escape Average and Do Work that Matters
Becca sent me a paperback version of the book. It arrived from sunny Arizona to my frozen tundra in the middle of a mini snow storm. And I cried when I saw it. I really did. Words escape me to tell you how hard she has worked on this book, how many hours and heart and tears are poured into the process of this book. But it’s here now, it really is, and it is beautiful.
Also, taking a selfie with your bff’s book means everything comes up backwards but, hey, I do what I can and I love the photo of the day I received it so this is what you get.
Becca is running a week long special of FREE SHIPPING if you order the book from her website Everything But the Posts. I am sorry for the short notice, but, consider yourself informed and GO BUY THIS BOOK.
Becca, my dear, I love you. I am so over the top excited for you. Good work! How inspirational you are to all those around you. Thank you. Thank you for making the sacrifice and getting this published. And now I am crying again….
