I have not posted a HAPPY NEW YEAR post because I was way too busy enjoying time with the boys and never got around to it.  I really can not say that I am sorry about that.

But it’s a new year and I wanted to say hello so a quick little post to tell you a few things:

We spent the second week of Christmas vacation sitting in front of our fireplace and playing rummy.  I even convinced our oldest to come play a few hands with us.  Daddy never did get around to playing but it ended up being one of the boys and I most favorite memories of Christmas.

I wore yoga pants, big t-shirts, slippers, my comfy sweater and no make up for three or four days in a row.  And loved it.

Christmas letters ended up being THE MOST FUN EVER this year and I even have considered taking that post down.  But I need help making Christmas letters work because some amazing things happened with that letter and I am convinced I need to keep writing them.  Only write them with a better time frame.

DOWNTON ABBEY!  Oh. My. Goodness.  I’m all kinds of ecstatic over the season being here and I am all kinds of sad because it’s the last season.  But this was a BIG FIRST SHOW day for me because I was able to watch Downton’s first episode of the season on the DAY IT WAS TO BE WATCHED!  I am forever not able to because I could not get PBS and we didn’t have cable so I would have to wait to watch the season on DVD.  That is awesome in that you can watch the entire season when you want, how you want.  It stinks because I become THAT FRIEND who keeps telling everyone “DO NOT TALK ABOUT THAT EPISODE.  I HAVEN’T WATCHED IT YET!”   My mom made the night extra special because she had me over and made me home  made pizza (so you all know, my mom’s pizza is the stuff legends are made of), tea, and home made lemon pie.  It was heavenly.

I am already missing Christmas vacation.  Yesterday home work brought on tears.  From me, I have to be honest.  I took time off of work and work made me use my brain a lot yesterday and then it gave up on me.  Today I had a dentist appointment and I still can’t really feel a side of my face.

Christmas vacation was way more fun.

I have some things coming up.  Because it’s a New Year!

My One Word.  Haven’t posted that yet!

I thought I would give you a heads up on books I am reading for book club because I love my book club.

I have been busy falling in love with my new planner.  There are only a few of the daily’s left (that’s the one I purchased) and they have a version even Guys would like.  Check out her site if you haven’t gotten a planner yet. http://corieclarkshop.com/

And all of you!  I want to hear from all of you!

What was your most favorite part of this Christmas season?

I miss Christmas break too. The one time a year that can be crazy busy, but then for a day or two time stands still and you can enjoy the moment. We had fun playing Rummikub over break.
Looking forward to 2016 and to reading all your new adventures.
